Sikeå Havscamping is a seaside camping site, 50km north of Umeå where you can wake up in the morning to the sound of birdsong and gentle waves breaking upon the beach.
This is a tranquil and beautiful camping site, perfect for those who really want to enjoy a long summer's day.
During your visit, you have the opportunity to do all those activities that belong to a summer beside the sea, such as a cooling swim, a fun game of beach volleyball or slowing the pace a little – but not the excitement – boules. You can bake bread in the bakery, fish from the quay or borrow a boat or canoe. Close to the site is a 2km path, along which are historical points of interest.
Visit the exhibition highlighting the old port of Sikeå Lastageplats in Varvstugan or browse around the excellent second-hand store in Andra Varvet. During the summer, live music events are held at the café. The site has nine cabins right on the waterfront, each able to sleep between two and four people. All are heated and contain a simple stove, fridge and kitchen utensils. Three service huts provide access to showers, toilets and a fully-equipped kitchen. There is room for 50 caravans - 45 of which have access to electricity. There is even room for visitors wanting to pitch their own tents.
